At what height are the lower and higher mattress positions? And at what age/ developmental stage should the height be lowered?: Hi El, Thank you for your enquiry. The measurements are Bassinet height: 44cm from the top rail to the mattress timber base. Allowing for a mattress 10cm thick, it would be 34cm from the top rail to the top of the mattress Toddler height: 65cm from the top rail to the mattress timber base. Allowing for a mattress 10cm thick, it would be 55cm from the top rail to the top of the mattress and great question, at what age/development should the height be lowered.. this is just before the child can sit up. You will see the signs ;)
Can you please advise on the materials used for this product? I am specifically interested to know if any MDF or engineered timber is used for any elements, like the base.: The Apollo Cot is made mostly from European Ash. Apart from the base slats, which are made from Pine. There is no MDF or engineered timber used on the Apollo Cot.
