Frequently Asked Questions

What is a lifetime warranty?

A Lifetime Warranty is designed to cover the product for its expected, reasonable lifespan. This means the length of time the materials and components can realistically be expected to perform well under normal use and care, rather than the lifetime of the owner.

Put simply, the warranty supports you for as long as the product can reasonably be expected to function as intended, giving you confidence and peace of mind in your purchase. It is valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Lifetime Warranty applies for the reasonable service life of the product, and determined under normal usage condition's.

Why do I have to pay $59 for a lifetime warranty?

At BabyRest, we already take pride in offering generous, high‑quality warranty coverage across all our products. Each item comes with its own built‑in warranty designed to give you peace of mind from day one.

For families who want an extra layer of long‑term reassurance, we provide the optional Lifetime Warranty upgrade for $59. This isn’t a requirement or a pushy add‑on, it’s simply an additional choice for customers who love the idea of long‑lasting protection well beyond the standard warranty period.

Why do I need to register?

When you register, it helps us process any potential warranty claims faster, because all your product details are already stored safely in our system.

And the best part? You never have to worry about keeping track of receipts or emails again. Misplace a receipt? Accidentally delete your confirmation email? It’s completely okay. Your registration is securely logged on our end, ready to go whenever you need it.

How can I purchase the lifetime warranty?

Upgrading your warranty is super simple. When you’re selecting your BabyRest products, you’ll be prompted with the option to add a Lifetime Warranty. Just follow the on‑screen steps - it only takes a moment and you’re all set!

If I purchase more than one product, do I need to register all of them?
Yes, this is super easy however, it does not mean you need to complete several e-registration forms, there is an option to add up to several items on the one registration form.

Would my warranty ever be declined?

At BabyRest, we take great pride in our customer service and our supportive warranty process. While we always aim to help, there are rare situations where a warranty claim may be declined. For example, if the issue is caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications, or certain environmental factors.

However, a declined warranty doesn’t mean we stop supporting you. If your claim falls outside warranty conditions, our team will still work with you to find a solution. This may include discussing small replacement‑part fees or shipping costs to help resolve the issue as affordably as possible.

The good news? These situations are uncommon, and our commitment to care is reflected in our 5‑star customer reviews. We’re here to help every step of the way.

If I purchase the lifetime warranty, does that cover all my products?

Our Lifetime Warranty upgrade covers the majority of BabyRest products. The only exclusions are change mats, sheets, pillows, and electrical cords. These items are not eligible for the lifetime upgrade, but all other eligible products will be fully covered under your Lifetime Warranty.

Can I purchase a lifetime warranty on my Change Mat or other smaller items?

Our Lifetime Warranty upgrade doesn’t apply to change mats, sheets, pillows or electrical items.

However, our Support Team is always here for you. If you ever experience an issue with any BabyRest product, big or small - please reach out. We’re always happy to help and find the best solution for you.

Doesn’t consumer rights cover this anyway?

Consumers have basic rights, known as Consumer Guarantees, this is under the Australia Consumer Law, this is not the same as warranties. Brands can extend or increase those standard guarantees and can be validated through online registration.
